But my friends are right, we are the sec 4s after all and we claimed to be the mature seniors.
And that's what i'm gonna show you on behalf of the sec 4s in this post.
We are the graduating batch, and we wanna leave without holding any grudge against anyone.
So I will say what i have to say. And then you can say what you wanna say.
But after this post, we, sec 4s, are washing our hands off it.

Jerome was at fault.
He was fully aware that he's gonna hurt Darius by punching him on the face.
We never deny that from the start. Jerome already ate the humble pie. Jerome was at fault.
And i think i mentioned that the lacerations were caused by the glass. In fact, many times.

It's simply to teach someone a lesson.
Violence = physical force to hurt someone or cause damage.

Jerome got canned. This means the school used violence to teach him a lesson.
He got into troubles before, the teachers admonished him many times. Yet, he was still a little rebellious.
So to teach him a lesson and to defend the school reputation, the school canned Jerome.

Now let; Punched = Canned. Darius = Jerome. Jerome = The School. People offended by Darius = the teachers. Pugnacious = rebellious. Pride = School Reputation.

Darius got punched. This means Jerome used violence to teach him a lesson.
He got into troubles before, the people who were offended by Darius admonished him many times.
Yet, he was still a little pugnacious. So to teach him a lesson and defend Jerome's pride, Jerome punched Darius.

Hence, if you think Jerome should be expelled from the school for using violence, don't you think the school should be sued for canning people?? no?

You have no idea what Jerome is like.
You're judging him and even value him just by this fray without knowing the annals of it.
The teachers and the school suspended him, gave him another chance by not expelling him.
Doesn't that mean that they think he's worthy of a place in the school?
If the authorities think so, why must you insist that he should be expelled?
If you dun care about him at all, then why must you complained about his punishments not being heavy enough?
